Who is responsible for Persian Bazaar?

Persian Bazaar is a service offered by Virtual Factor LLC, a U.S. based corporation.  Virtual Factor LLC was established by the founders of Manou & Associates Inc. and other individuals who have been actively working in the field of Internet and world wide web.    Manou & Associates Inc. has been actively serving the Iranian Internet community since 1995.  Most of our visitors know Manou & Associates Inc. as the sponsor and developer of www.IranOnline.com and www.IranianYellowPages.com.  These two  sites are among the most frequently visited Iranian Internet sites ever available.  Virtual Factor LLC is leveraging the experience and resources of  Manou & Associates Inc.  and is bringing the same dedication and perseverance to make PersianBazaar.com as successful as Iran Online.

Persian Bazaar is designed to serve the Internet shopping needs of those interested in products that are mostly used by Iranians.  It is an integral part of Iran Online forum.

Why Persian Bazaar is the best way for me to sell my products on the Internet?

We  have designed, developed and managed some of the most popular Iranian Internet sites such as Iran Online (www.IranOnline.com), Iranian Yellow Pages (www.IranianYellowPages.com) and Iran Online Free Email (IROL.net) sites.  We are in a position to advertise Persian Bazaar among the Iranian Internet community better than anyone else. Persian Bazaar is an integral part of Iran Online Forum which  is a recognized and respected name.   Because of our business model and the variety of  products we offer, we are able to attract more shoppers.  Finally, capital investment required for the development of the  Persian Bazaar is way beyond justification for an individual business to market and sale products via the Internet.

How does Persian Bazaar  work?

The model used here, is based on a thousand year old tradition of Persian bazaars which is similar to those used by today's shopping  malls. Here, we provide different merchants with store fronts and allow them to display their products to our visitors (shoppers).   We also provide a secure transaction system which allows our shoppers to use their credit cards for the purchase of displayed products.  All orders are processed automatically and forwarded to individual merchants. Merchants process the orders and mail the products to shoppers directly. Merchants are paid by the credit card company directly.  Persian Bazaar receives a percentage of gross sale from each merchant at the end of each month.

Who are Persian Bazaar Visitors?

Internet is the only vehicle that provides access to Persian Bazaar.  Most of our visitors are Iranians.  www.IranOnline.com , www.IranianYellowPages.com and www.IROL.net  are used to advertise Persian Bazaar and its services.  We also use other advertising techniques and  media to further reach potential shoppers.  We believe through our participating Internet sites, we are in the best position to introduce our services to the widest audience.

What is Persian Bazaar customer service policy?

We are a customer driven organization.  Therefore, we expect our subscribing merchants to adhere to the highest levels of customer satisfaction protocols.   All our subscribing merchants should have a customer service unit as part of their operation.  We review all received  complaints and take necessary actions to alleviate problems when  reoccurring problems are reported.  This is to protect the collective interest of our shoppers and subscribing merchants.

Is there any product pricing policy?

Products that are sold through Persian Bazaar have to be priced competitively.   This helps the overall image and reputation of the Persian Bazaar.   It brings more shoppers and increases the sales volume for all our subscribing merchants.  All product prices are reviewed by our staff.  If the price for a product appears  to be excessively high,  the merchant will be asked to justify its marketability.

What are the cost involved to become a subscribing merchant?

The cost for creating a store front varies depending on the number of displayed products and their description. Our staff will work closely
with  you to determine the set up fee.

Is there a monthly subscription fee?

Yes, there is small monthly subscription fee.

How are the Persian Bazaar fees calculated?

Different fee schedules are used for different products.  We use either a flat fee per transaction or a percentage of the gross sale.  The fee schedule is determined by Persian Bazaar and is not negotiable.   In either case, the intent is to come up with a reasonable arrangement for all parties involve.

Can the products and product descriptions be changed or modified?

Yes, our staff can change the product list and their description per our fee schedule.

Do I need to have Internet access to be a subscribing merchant?

Yes, all the orders will be forwarded to you via email.  We will also provide you with an account which will allow you to review the
transaction history of  your orders via Internet.

Are you going to allow more than one merchant to offer the same product in the Persian Bazaar?

Yes, this motivates our merchant subscribers to offer their products at competitive prices.  The more reasonable the prices, the more shoppers we will have.  However, this does not mean that we add excessive number of store fronts offering identical products.  This could be confusing for our shoppers and makes our job more difficult.  We try to balance the needs and interests of our shoppers with those of our subscribing merchants.

How can I become a subscribing merchant?

To apply for membership, you need to fill out and submit the computer application form that is provided for this purpose.  Each application is reviewed individually by our staff.   If the application passes our preliminary approval, you will be contacted and  informed of further details.  All together, the process should not take more than two - three weeks.  If your application is denied, you will be informed accordingly.
